I just loved this one. It was so elevated and yet so authentic and resonant. Jillian Bell was perfect in her role. The characters were strongest part of the movie, being good, warm people, not caricatures, and completely lacking in forced conflict. Even the music and the needle drops were spot on. Perhaps the only thing I can complain about was the strange, inconsistent æsthetic that seemed to shift nearly from scene to scene, but that hardly detracts from the genuine, palpable sense of triumph and accomplishment the ending brings. Truly an earned victory.
