Rosario + Vampire : Season 1 Episode 1

A potentially interesting concept. I’m an easy mark for this sort of story. Sadly, it’s too juvenile, facile, and generic for me. Tsukune and Moka’s relationship displays the most frustrating kind of unearned devotion, and the animation is bland.
Perhaps that’s just as well, though, given the incessant central sexualization of a schoolgirl, including view after view up her skirt. It’s only natural that her transformation provides copious amounts of nudity to accompany the enlargement of her chest, and it’s only to be expected that the first episode would set the tone with some gratuitous sexual assault.
