The first season of Westworld was great. Thrills, existential questions, and robots, combined with Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, and a whole host (pardon the pun) of other fantastic actors. Sure, I disliked the gore, but the rest of the show made up for it. I remember how my anticipation kept building up over the course of the season, and how much fun it was to follow along with all the speculation online. Despite that, I was still shocked by the revelation of the different timelines as well as by finding out Bernard was an android. The climax was a tad disappointing, but not so much that it hindered my enjoyment of the show as a whole.
